Barrel racing introduction and developing skills for new barrel racers - or for anyone looking to improve their performance. Already took the first class? No worries we will build on skills already introduced!
Limit 4 riders per class: 10 am to 1 pm or 2 pm to 5 pm

CANTERING AND LOPING
All about the 3 beat gate! This class is perfect for anyone wanting to improve themselves or their horses cantering/loping skills. We will cover lead departures, footfall, lead-changes, and cross-firing. All disciplines welcome.

ALL ABOUT THE BABIES
This class is perfect for weanlings and horses up to age 2. We will cover ground skills, desensitizing, respect, and all things horses need to grow into well behaved partners. The more you expose your youngster to new places and situations the easier it will be as they transition into riding horses.
Limit 6 participants: 1 pm to 4 pm

Perfect for a rider who wants to gain more knowledge about how to correctly canter or lope, learning leads, lead departures, preparing for lead changes, and help with fixing dropped leads or cross firing.
FAQ: Yes, you can take both classes and ride a different horse each class or the same horse (although you both should be physically prepared). We also have a few lesson horses available if you wish to ride one of them ($25). Contact us for sign up information.

Perfect for a rider who is looking to gain more knowledge about the fundamentals of barrel racing. All levels welcome. We will be videoing your runs and sending you a video link and tips for continued improvement at the end of the class.
