Iron Xtra Color
2001 Registered Appaloosa Mare
Lineage: 1/2 Quarterhorse, 1/2 Appaloosa
Size: 14.3 hands
Xtra is a wonderful part of our family, and we are looking to find her a new family to enjoy. She has experience in many disciplines and with many types/levels of riders. She has been in large parades, rodeos (carries flags), and shows. She has a performance ROM as well. Calmly packs or drags game, loves to work cows, great with traffic, excellent ground manners, basically will do anything asked. I have used her for both English and western lessons and demonstrations; in addition to her "training" my son. Xtra has been ridden by complete beginners (in an arena), to beginner intermediates (arena/trail/performance). Last years hometown rodeo queen rode her for all three nights of the Livingston Roundup. (One of the biggest rodeo's in MT) She was also leased out for the Chief Joseph Trail Ride by an intermediate rider. She has a more impressive resume than most, and is a proven producer. Does not require constant riding, and has a wonderful disposition. She is kind and gentle, but not lazy - so an inexperienced rider should be coached until they know their basics. She is an amazing trail horse, and walks out nicely alone or in a group. I have owned two other full siblings and love this cross. They both are proven performance horses, AND YOUTH horses. I would like to see her be a family horse and/or a trail horse for a loving home. She is UTD on teeth (9/5), de-worming, vaccinations, and farrier. No bad habits and get's along well with other horses. A few video links below, more on our youtube channel. We have a ton of pictures, info., etc. on her. We just started her 2 year old filly, and she is easy and willing - just like her momma! Many videos available on our Youtube Channel - Campbellhorses. VIDEO1 VIDEO2 VIDEO3
We took her to my sons school last year for an introduction to horses and horse safety. She was mauled by 20 kids in a parking lot, and loved every minute.
2005 Morgan Gelding
“Cruiser” is a fun loving gelding. He has been ridden western, bareback, and English, has arena experience, jumping experience, and trail experience. We believe he is best suited for trail. He has been ridden by confident intermediate youth riders on the trail and in the arena. He is great with traffic, water crossing, down fall, etc. I have ponied horses off of him, and he has been around cattle with no issues. He has a lot of stamina, and walks out really nice (which is a Morgan trait). He can go all day. He is an easy keeper and doesn’t require any special feed or maintenance. His perfect match is someone who enjoys long rides, and likes his “let’s go do something” personality. Cruiser is super sweet, and loves people. He is very nicely put together, and has that gorgeous Morgan mane and tail. Cruiser is always easy to catch, gets along great with other horses, trailers, shoes, and bathes easily. He is UTD on teeth, vaccinations, de-worming, and farrier. VIDEO
Name: Iron Red Dynasty
Height: 15 hands
Iron Red Dynasty aka "Red Horse" is a very cool mare. She is a great universal size and built to do well in any discipline. Her pedigree is filled with proven youth and all-around horses. She is registered appaloosa, however she is half quarter horse and has no spots. She is the kind of horse that will mature to be an all-around, go to partner. She is still young, but very mature and handles new situations really well. She has been a pleasure to train and is a very honest girl. She has primarily been ridden out on the trail, but has arena experience also. She has been ridden and hauled to local jackpot barrel races for exposure - as well as recently helping gather 50 head of horses off of some pretty steep mountain terrain, and sorting them into corrals. She has been around cattle a lot, not actually "worked" them, but has the right temperament to enjoy it. She crosses water, bridges, down fall, and heavy brush. She is friendly, easy to catch, gear up, shoe, trailer, and bathe. She goes off alone or in a group. Red Horse loves attention and get's along great with other horses. Her siblings are ranch horses, youth horses; used for all-around competition. We believe she will make a youth horse, and could be ridden by an experienced older youth now. For adult riders she currently needs an intermediate. We can see her doing well in drill team, grand entries, ranch work, hunting, trail, 4-H, competitive trail, cattle work, obstacle courses, western dressage, or English riding. She is built beautifully, moves smooth and light, and has a fun personality! Dental 9/4/16, UTD on de-worming, vaccinations, and shoes. VIDEO
2007 ApHC Gelding
“Konah” is our mascot. He exemplifies our training program. He can do it all, show (western/English), jump (2’ to 3’ with intermediate riders – he has won and placed with limited showing), barrel race (money earner), packs game, works cattle, trail ride, the list goes on and on. His ground manners are perfect, he has all sorts of fancy cues he can show you. He has traveled with us two winters from Montana to Texas as our demonstration horse. He is honest and kind with a funny personality. The smartest horse you will ever meet. I have used him as a lesson horse for adults and intermediate youths; my 8 year old son rides him. Although he is talented in many areas, we believe his perfect home is a family who shows and competes in jumping or does all-around western and English. He is a natural jumper, and truly enjoys it. He also would be an OUTSTANDING eventing horse, I have taken several dressage lessons with him and received wonderful feedback. He is a one of a kind horse, and loves to be with people. VIDEO
Big Sky Lou Indy aka "Eastwood" 2 yr old gelding.
